Yes, you worked in a coffee shop. You always thought it would be a good idea because....you know....Coffee shop AU. Yep. You guessed it. You are single and read a ton of fanfictions. If fictional characters could find love in a coffee shop so can you, well if you set your mind to it. You also loved the smell of coffee, Hell you loved coffee in general. You met your best friend working in this coffee shop, Well you considered your coworker Roxy your best friend. It was just another ordinary coffee serving day for you when....some hot ass motherfucker walks through the door. He has dorky anime shades and weird ass blond hair but he still looked attractive as hell.
"Oh~! He looks like a cute one." Roxy whispers.
"ROXY! YOU GOD DAMN FUCK MELON, YOU BROKE THE MICROWAVE AGAIN!!!!! MY OFFICE NOW!" Your boss Karkat yells.
"Ugh. Looks like you have to take the cash register now (y/n)." Roxy says slouching over to Karkat's office.
"Is everything alright?" The hot ass motherfucker says.
"Yeah. Just the usual staff shit." You say. "Now what would you like to order?"
"A latte with extra foam. Please."
"Sure thingy and what is your name sir?"
"Dirk."
"Ok! I will have that latte up and running before you know it." You quickly make the latte and then you write his name on the cup. Heck. You think it would be a good idea to write your number on the cup. He was cute and seemed nice, what other chance would you have like this again?
"Here you go, Dirk." You say winking and hand him the cup.
"Thanks...uh..(y/n)." He smiles and then leaves.
"SWEET! I THINK I SCORED ONE."

Dirk pulled into the coffee shop parking lot and stopped so that Dave could get in the car. His shift was over and Dirk was there to pick him up, as usual. Dave got in the car; however, he was completely silent, which was odd for him.
“Did you have a good day at work?” Dirk asked.
“Yeah, it was okay,” Dave answered, “Nothing really happened, except the boss was mad at one of the workers today.”
